My boyfreind and I spent a week in this lovely apartment: there's everything you may need, it's very central and well connected and also very clean: we definitely loved it and we'll certainly be back. Only negative thing: it's a bit noisy if you leave the windows open (and during summer you will).

Our apartment was fantastic, the localization is excellent because you are in the dowtown but at the same time you fell than lives in a residential area. The tube and the Bus, 24, stop very near and the area is a safe place. Full of restaurants, shops and supermarkets.

Inside the apartament has comfortable atmosphere..the bed is perfect good quality!!

Sure you waste good time in this apartment because you will be in the real London!!

My husband and I stayed at this apartment in Bloomsbury for a week. We expected a pretty basic flat with the relatively cheap price and this is exactly what we got. It was an absolutely terrific location and had everything we needed for the week's vacation. It had a comfortable queen size bed, clean sheets, clean towels, and WIFI access. The building is very secure as well.

One easy improvement that could be made is the apartment could really use a deep clean. The bathroom was dirty as were the floors and the furniture looked weathered and could use a steam clean.

The only other thing to be mindful of in renting this flat is the noise. The flat is in a very central and noisy location. There is street noise all day and all night. If you are a light sleeper like I am, the only saving grace was the fan they had on hand (although a bit dusty and could also really use a cleaning) that helped to cancel out the noise at night.

All in all, we had a great vacation in this flat. Next time I will probably go for somewhere a bit more pricey with a few more amenities but this was a great, affordable choice in a terrific location.

My husband & I stayed here for a week & cannot say enough about the place! Clean, TV, wi fi, fabulous shower, huge bathroom & bedroom with plenty of closet & drawer space. Oven & range along with microwave, coffee press, kettle & plenty of crockery & cookware for the 2 of us. Caroline the porter was great! We loved her breakfast recommendation! The buses are right outside & it is an easy walk to Covent Garden, Tottenham Court Road & Holborn tubes. Sainsbury's is 5 min walk for groceries. Great secure building. Flat has an Ironing board, iron & hairdryer (and a washing machine but we didn't use that). Simply furnished but more than adequate.
If you want to be pampered & waited on like a tourist go to a hotel..if you want the real feel of living in London..stay at Mike's flat!

We can’t say enough about the location of the apartment. The most exciting aspects of the city - the shops, pubs, cafes, restaurants, theaters, concerts, museums, etc. are all either within walking distance or an affordable cab ride away. M&S and Sainsbury's supermarkets are also just a 10-minute walk away on Tottenham Court Rd. The apartment was properly cleaned before our arrival; the bed was comfortable; there were plenty of towels and fresh linens; the Sky TV and wi-fi services worked without any tech gliches; the bathroom had a good shower. The property manager, Mike, responded promptly to our e-mails and phone calls. For example, when we told him that the iron wasn’t working, he got us a new one right away. Caroline, the concierge, was also very friendly and helpful. In addition, we appreciated the security systems of the apartment. From the reviews, we were expecting a fold-down futon in the living room, but there was a two-person sofa instead, so the apartment as it is now furnished is only appropriate for a couple. The only problem with the apartment as mentioned in some reviews is the loud traffic noise from the street. Fortunately, we were there when the weather was cool, so we could close the double windows which are adequately sound proof. I suppose if the weather is hot and the windows are open, you could use ear plugs and the apartment fan to get to sleep. In general, we were very pleased with the place.

Mike's Apartment was very nice. It was a great location and we wish to stay there again. I would say that anyone who wants to be just around the corner from the British Museum and right in central London might enjoy staying here. It's also close to Soho and Covent Gardens. We felt nice and secure there with the security. We could walk to the market and many deli's and coffee shops. Also with 2 metro stations 5-10 minute walk from he apartment it was very easy to get around London. We really enjoyed are stay.

Location excellent except for constant police emergency sirens when windows were open. Contact with owner was good and very helpful. Comfortable bed. Plenty of cupboard space. Free internet access. Good security.
The unit is quite tired with the following that would improve it:
repairs to cupboard doors
adjusting plumbing (shower head and loo)
making sure kitchen basics are there (eg bread knife, wine glasses)

My wife and I stayed at his apartment for a week in late September 2010. The listing was very accurate, the unit was clean and well maintained although not fancy. The bed was excellent and very comfortable and the wireless Internet service worked very well. All dealings with the owner were excellent (emails) and he was extremely helpful with directions and met us at the apartment as planned. The apartment is in an older secured building and the furishings are basic but quite adequate. The location is outstanding and easy walking to Soho, the theatre district, many restaurants, the British Museum (around the corner) many major attractions such as Big Ben, Westminister Abbey, Buckingham Palace, the Eye, etc. The tube is close and there is plenty of surface transportation. We bought a week long Oyster card at the airport (just before we boarded the tube) and it worked great for the week...including the top up for the tube to the station near the apartment..... without any changing of tube lines!!!

I would highly recommend this apartment as a base for visiting central London and Mike the owner was very helpful.
