We spent amazing 2 weeks on Villa Eleftherna. The House is perfect and owners are very helpful and friendly. We even had a change to visit traditional Creten weddings. I am sure that we will recommend this to our friends and relatives.

Our family included children, adults and grandparents just loved this place and these people. The villa was marvelous, very clean and room for everyone. It was locaded to very beautiful countryside but not too far from sightseeings, beach and Rethymnos lovely town. In kitchen there`s everything what you need for making dinner for a big group and if something doesn`t work villas owner will help you to fix it. We felt so warmly welcomed by owners family and hospitality what we had was the best ever! Children just loved to play in beautiful garden and to see lot of animals around. Eleftherna is a small village with friendly people. There is a little grocery store and taverna to have a drink or ice cream with local people. Bikes were only extra fun for us: trip to next village with bicycles was unforgettable. We will come back!

My family and our friends spent a week at Villa Eleftherna and our only complaint was that we weren't there for longer! The villa lived up to our expectations - and more! The house is very well equipped, the furnishings are excellent and everywhere is spotlessly clean and well maintained. As well as this, Kostas and his father and mother were very welcoming and helpful. They had fruit, wine, raki and honey waiting for us and George (Kostas' father) was kind enough to take me on a memorable walk to Margaritas through the nearby gorges (I had a combined history, botany and Greek lesson along the way!).
Eleftherna itself is a small village and the facilities are quite limited. There are two tavernas but they only serve snacks. There is a small supermarket although the choice is poor and you definitely need a car if you are staying there. The location, however, is wonderful and it is a perfect base for exploring the area. The local people are also very welcoming.
We are more than happy to recommend Villa Eleftherna to anyone and we hope to return in the near future.

Abbiamo prenotato convinti dalle foto e dalle recensioni dei precedenti ospiti, e dopo aver passato quindici giorni a Creta ospiti della villa ...non saremmo più tornati a casa.
Le foto non rendono la bellezza della casa, fornita di tutto, tv satellite e internet wifi, piscina bellissima giardino, spazi per stare tranquilli e per condividere la vacanza con altre persone. Noi eravamo due famiglie per un totale di 7 persone, 4 adulti e 3 bambini.
Ogni coppia aveva la sua camera, matrimoniale per i grandi e due letti per camera per i bambini. Da segnalare oltre la villa che ha tutto ciò che promette anche la grande cordialità del proprietario, che ogni giorno veniva a sincerarsi che tutto andasse bene, senza essere minimamente invadente e che ci ha cucinato alla griglia l'ultima sera una cena ottima insieme alla moglie e ai figli. Abbiamo passato una serata veramente conviviale e amichevole.

Un sitio precioso, romántico, el paisaje una maravilla. Las condiciones de la casa estupendas, limpisimo, calidades de lujo. La atención personal muy buena, con muchos detalles.

As most already wrote, we can only confirm the different reviews. The house is very well maintained by it s owner, as well as the garden. Upon arrival, we got a basket of fruits, a bottle of raki and wine, a port of honey and a nice set of flowers. During our stay, the house was cleaned twice a week. The owner noticed we didn't had a pump for our inflatables and unexpectedly, he delivered one. The place is really unique, as we think it is the only place in Eleftherna where you can rent a villa. The surroundings are nice, the place is quit. Everything is just positive.

If you feel like getting away from it all but still want to spend some quality time with friends or family - Villa Eleftherna is the perfect place! The tranquility up in the mountains where you easily can take a walk in the morning and sort out your thoughts, and still spend the rest of the day by the pool with friends or family or or having a barbecue party in the garden... Can it get any better? We were a 60-year couple (mum and dad), a young family with children under 2 years old and everybody from 6 months to 60 just loved the place! You need a car though if you would want to explore the island or just stop by a shop to by some food. We spent one week at Villa Eleftherna with my husband, parents, sister, her husband and two young children. We could not have found a better place to be all together, and still the villa is so nice and well designed that you are not walking on each other ! The house is gorgeous, rooms are spacious and very tastefully decorated, everything was well thought! Fully equipped, with swimmming pool, beautiful garden where one can make barbecue and bake pizzas! The village is nice and a good point to visit many of the Cretan treasures. The people taking care of the house and of the guests are just adorable and extremely efficient. We loved it and recommend it very warmly!
