Luminoso, elegante appartamento con due balconi sul canale
Molto luminoso ed arioso, unisce l'eleganza veneziana dei pavimenti a mosaico, dei lampadari di Murano, dei mobili antichi e dei tessuti alla modernità e funzionalità della cucina e dei bagni. Il lussuoso restauro riguarda solamente l'abitazione mentre le parti comuni del palazzo mostrano i segni del tempo. L'appartamento si apre su un ampio ingresso su cui si affacciano quattro camere (due matrimoniali, una doppia e una con un divano letto), salone, cucina e due bagni, una con vasca e uno con doccia. Dai due balconi si gode la vista del passaggio delle gondole sul canale. Aria condizionata temporizzata a scheda, da pagare a parte in base all'uso.

Una splendida vacanza

La nostra permanenza in questo splendido appartamento è stata fantastica. L'accoglienza molto professionale al check-in ci ha fornito tutte le informazioni per vivere al meglio la città. L'appartamento è situato in una posizione strategica perchè molto vicina a tutti i servizi, ma molto vicina anche al ponte di Rialto e a tutte le cose più interessanti da vedere. Abbiamo avuto modo di degustare un'ottima cena a casa usufruendo del servizio di personal chef da noi appositamente richiesto e abbiamo degustato un'ottima cucina con assaggi di piatti tipici e di stagione. Dal balcone abbiamo poi goduto dello spettacolo delle gondole che passano sotto casa al canto dei gondolieri ...insomma una vacanza ideale!!!

perfect stay for a venice discovery

After decided to go to venice we found this lovely very venezian appartment. The owner was very helpfull with all questions in advance and also picking us up from the train station which is only 10 min away. The area where the appartment is located is very relaxed and not so floted with tourists like the rialto bridge area. But the canale grande with all transportation facilities is stil only a 5 minutes walk away. The appartment is very spacious and was absolutely perfect for four adults and two small kids. This location is perfect for travelers who want to discover venice and maybe want to go a step beyond rialto bridge and marcus square. We will definately come back.

Great Location in Venice

My family of two adults and three teenage children stayed in this wonderful apartment. Cleanliness, plenty of space and location to all Venice has to offer were the most impressive features of this apartment. Luca greeted us at the train station and was extremely helpful and gave us the tips we needed to get around, eat and see the best parts of Venice. The view over the canal was very special with singing gondolas passing by - it was an experience we will not forget. We would highly recommend this apartment for fellow travellers.

Perfect apartment for a group holiday in Venice!

This apartment in Santa Croce was ideal for our mixed group of six - couples and friends. It is very comfortable, clean and well provided with cooking utensils, crockery, glasses and all that you need. It is spacious (though not quite as spacious as the wide angle photos on the website make it appear!) The location is excellent - handy for Piazzale Roma (bus station) and the railway station, but far enough away to be 'real Venice'. Lots of stairs, but you get used to the exercise! The canal below the delightful little balconies, Rio Marin, is busy and typical. Its not far to walk to places like the Rialto markets, the Frari, Campo Santa Margherita, Campo San Polo, and even to St Mark's, Accademia etc. There are numerous excellent bakers nearby, and general food shops near Campo San Giacomo dell' Orio - 5 mins walk - a great little campo. Great pizza take-away place, butchers and lovely tea room below the apartment. Luca, the owner, is very helpful - friendly, charming and speaking excellent English. We can strongly recommend this apartment, having been frequent visitors to Venice over many years.

Wonderful Memories

Our party (four adults and three teenagers) was very comfortably accommodated in this apartment. It provided everything we needed in the way of laundry, cooking and bathroom amenities, plus loads of space, comfortable beds, and old-world charm. The location is ideal - close enough to walk to all main attractions, but relatively quiet and away from the tourist crowds. It was easy to wheel our luggage to and from the railway station, and a big bonus to be met and shown around by Luca. We all look back on our stay here as a highlight of our trip to Europe and would certainly recommend the apartment to others.

Excellent apartment

The apartment is less than 5 minutes walk to the railway and bus stations and walking distance from the main sites of Venice. Shops and restaurants were also close by.
We received good information from the owner, who met us at the bus stop to take us to the apartment. The apartment was warm, spacious, clean and very comfortable.
We recommend this apartment as a great place to stay in Venice.

My family and I loved Luca's apartment. It was great that he came to meet us at the train and escorted us to the apartment. It is in the residential area so not as many tourists which we preferred. Very close to the train station and a short 15 minute walk to the buses back to the airport. Ample space and bathrooms for 6 adults. The beds were comfortable too. Good bathrooms. Good suggestions left in the home for restaurants. We did like the small tea shop just down the canal and the bakery that was about a 5 minute walk away that Luca reccommended.

Great apartment with character and lots of space

This is a lovely, spacious apartment which is in easy reach of all the sights but in a quieter area of the city. There are two or three nice restaurants within a 5 minute walk. Luca met us on arrival and not only showed us around the apartment but then took us out for a short walk to the local supermarket. A really friendly and helpful owner.
A couple of recommendations - the apartment is right on a narrow canal near the Grand Canal so arrive in style and get a water taxi from the airport, it will drop you off right outside the apartment. Also, set your alarm early one morning and get down to St Mark's Square at sunrise - very few tourists and a photographers' paradise!

JUST A LOVELY APARTMENT

After travelling from Australia it was lovely to be met by Luca on Via Marin. We took the vaporetto from the airport which dropped us off just outside the apartment.
Luca showed us around his apartment and gave us lots of information about how to get around Venice and recommended restaurants, supermarkets and sites.
The apartment is on a lovely canal with condolas sweeping by. It is away from the tourist crowds which we appreciated. Around the corner is a nice piazza with restaurants, supermarket and shops. The area Santa Croce has a residential feel, clean and only a 5 minute walk to the train station and vaporetto stops. You can easily walk to Rialto Bridge.
The apartment is spotlessly clean, has everything you need for your stay and accommodated 4 adults and 2 children comfortably. There's plenty of space to spread out. One of the bedrooms has a small balcony where you can watch the passing parade on the canal down below. We have to recommend the pizza restaurant just below the apartment and the cafe across the canal. The best coffee and pastries and really good pizzas and gelato.
We would thoroughly recommend Luca and Amy's apartment.

Lovely, Convenient and Spacious

We were traveling with two families. When arrived in Venice -our first time there. Luca was waiting for us. He was so responsive to our every need. Whether it was directions or suggestions for good restaurants One night we even called him at dinner time for some help finding a restaurant and he was more than happy to help us! About the apartment. We were very impressed with this apartment it was definitely worth every penny. This apartment had more than enough room for the six of us. After travelling together for three weeks we had plenty of room to find privacy and a great living room to chat about our next adventure. The apartment overlooks a canal and is walking distance to the train station and close to the water boats. We were there during a very hot spell- temperature in the high 90s.We asked Luca for an extra fan and he bought a new one to the apartment right away. Luca was in the process of installing air-conditioning which will make this a perfect place to stay no matter what the time of year you choose. Don't expect it to be quiet in the evening because Venice is very alive at night. I would definitely stay in his apartment again. Be prepared for a work out getting up and down the stairs. I found it very doable and I'm not in great shape.
