nice home with beautiful gardens

we had really a nice holiday in jamaica. we felt quiet comfortable, the house and the garden are beautiful. we apreciated the well equiped kitchen, the washing machine, the verandas and balconies, the nice furnished living- and bedrooms. especially I liked the garden, I was relaxing there so many hours enjoying the many different trees and flowers and observing the birds and butterflies. we had a good time with the housekeeper, she is such a sweet woman and the little basket she gave us as a present will allways remind us of her.
we were glad to have the small car, it was quiet practical for do the shopping and for going to the beach. we had also some interesting trips, for example to port maria, to port antonio, to brownsville, to the bob marley mausoleum in that hidden place behind all those hills, to mandeville, to the south coast and from black river all around the coast to negrill, montego bay and back to ocho rios. we had a really pleasant stay at the house.

It was a very pleasant stay for me and the family over the Christmas - it is a very clean and comfortable home. It was also very local to key amenities such as the beach, eateries and a short taxi ride to the main town for a wider selection. The rooms are large and well decorated, the two lounges are well suited for large families or groups. Highly recommended place to stay whilst enjoying the joys of jamaica.

Nice house, in excellent location with easy access to beaches and sightseeing. Decorated really well and in good condition. It made our first stay in Ochio Rios great and that much more enjoyable. I stayed there with immediate family and a couple of friends, the house is well suited for all types of holiday makers such as families and groups. It was definately good value for such a high quality holiday house - you wont be disappointed.

Relaxing and homely stay

My stay in February was the first time here and i was pleasantly surprised. The house is so very comfortable with a luxury feel to it. The furniture is top quality and the house has so much space, especially the large lounge, one of the best features was two reception lounge areas - on first floor there is one large open lounge with verandah which is ideal to sit and have meals or just watch the sunset. On ground floor, there is a second nice lounge area, this is really good when you have a large party and meant the other couples in the party had opportunity to have their own space if needed, as there is also a bedroom on the ground floor.
We used the service of the cook and had a good start to the day with the jamaican breakfast she provided, so good we also used her for a couple of evening meals which clearly met the standard of any of the good restaurents in town.
The bedrooms have the most comfortable beds, something I always worry about when staying at hotels but we all felt like we were at home in these beds!!!
The house is ideally located, just over 5 minutes drive to town which has many nice restaurents, shops and good nightlife, its about 20 minutes walk (5 mins by car) to reggae beach - which is a great beach.
Highly highly recommended holiday home to stay in.

Great stay in holiday home - ticks all the boxes

I stayed at this holiday home for two weeks in August 2010 and found it to have the most comfortable feel to it. It is beautifully designed and the layout will suit all groups, with privacy in bedrooms but large open plan lounge for socialising, massive size kitchen and dining area made eating with the family much more enjoyable - much better than sitting at the small tables in hotel restaurents!!.The rooms were very spacious and very clean, i am very fussy with hygience and found that the property was cleaned to the hightest standard when we we arrived.The housekeeper did a good job of cleaning up after my two messy children and we also requested the extra service of having two evening meals, which made a change to eat on nice quiet verandah overlooking the great view. We found it was located in nice area,and so close to travel to local beach and shops less than 5 minutes away. The owner was very friendly when we were making arrangements and really open to answer my numerous questions as it was my first time in Jamaica. I am going back next year for a family wedding in Jamaica and will be definately be booking another stay there.
