Craig & Melanie, the owners, have produced an immaculate holiday home as a result of high quality building, superb finishes and an incredibly knowledgeable attention to detail. Their own descriptions of the property are understated. This is five star and sets the standard.
In addition to the superb interior, there are outside terraces which provide comfortable sitting areas to suit the orientation of the sun, and which, therefore, provide shade, when needed, throughout the day.
Information, by way of a detailed household manual and visitors guide, had been painstakingly assembled and provides all the information necessary to make the most of the stay of whatever duration. This enables Guests to make the most of the time available without missing the essential viewing.
The house is ideally situated to be a superb base from which to visit the major towns and cities of Galicia, none of which is out of reach for a day trip, from this centrally located village of friendly Galicians.

A lovely, quiet location and a very comfortable and well maintained property. The farmhouse really lived up to its description and Craig and Mel were most helpful hosts. They provided a welcome pack of essential supplies - very useful after a loing journey- and were able to provide details of places where we were able to rent canoes and good restaurants. he driving guides and information left at Campo Verde were really informative as were the instructions left for all the household appliances.
The farmhouse was spotless and provided a luxurious base for our holiday. Internet access was availbale in nearby Escairon. I would recommend the property and would love to return.

A peaceful haven
Campo Verde is suitable for couples who enjoy quiet rural surroundings. The house is very clean, well maintained and comfortable. Craig and Melanie are very welcoming and they provide guests with detailed information about the surrounding area, includind ideas for driving tours. We enjoyed the Mino valley tour and sampled the local wine as suggested.
A visit to the monastery at Samos is a must. We had a guided tour in English. Then we continued to Portomarin, and finally spent a couple of hours in Lugo. You can see from walking around the walls that there is not a lot of the old town that has not been reconstructed but a visit to the cathedral is well worth it.
Santiago de Compostela has a wealth of old streets, alleyways and beautiful buildings and churches.
A visit to the monastery at Samos is a must. We had a guided tour in English. Then we continued to Portomarin, and finally spent a couple of hours in Lugo. Fantastic !
CampoVerde is an ideal base to discover a very beautiful part of Spain the Minho and the Sil Valleys which are truly magnificent, The house itself has been renovated to a very high standard indeed with everything required for self catering if needed spotlessly clean and with a very much appreciated welcome pack, my family and I had an absolutely fantastic time there on holiday and will definitely be returning in the future thanks to Craig and Mel for making it such a wonderful place to stay.

The grandeur of Galicia.
Campo Verde benefits from being in a wonderful area of Spain. The region is scenically dramatic and a great place to explore. By visiting in late May we were lucky enough to see an abundance of wild flowers.
The house was ideal for the two of us, and very comfortable. It was spotlessly clean and well maintained with a choice of outside areas, which offered sun or shade. We felt that the description if the property was very accurate.
Craig and Melanie offered friendly, comprehensive advice, visiting the house on the morning after our arrival. There was a folder containing detailed information for self-drive tours, including photos and suggestions for places to eat en route. These guides were excellent and enabled us to visit attractions well off the beaten track as well as more popular destinations. Advice was also offered on local restaurants, with a proforma to review our experiences. This information then builds up a helpful picture for future guests.
Craig and Melanie were quick to respond with a further visit when we experienced a minor problem with the property, which was immediately rectified.
We would recommend this property, particularly to friends who would like to see a very different side of Spain.

Wonderful Holiday
What a wonderful home. Everything was BETTER than the photos. What can we say about Mel and Craig. Two of the greatest. They helped us with everything including introducing us to two super Menu de Dia locations on the river. If you are looking for the perfect holiday you MUST choose Campo Verde. Believe us when we say that you will go home with a smile on your face. We loved the quiet and all the very helpful day trip suggestions by Craig and Mel in there very useful trip planning booklet. Looking for the PERFECT holiday, look no futher than Campo Verde!!

CAMPO VERDE STAY
We had a very pleasant stay in this very well finished cottage. Very comfortable and detailed. Written instructions and information were also very detailed and very useful.
Weather was sunny for most of the time, which was perfect for admiring the amazing countryside.

A fantastic stay at Campo Verde
From the excellent owner's website we knew we found a great place, however it exceeded our expectations. We put it down as one of the nicest places we have stayed in. The cottage was beautifully converted and the decor made one feel at home. It was extremely well equipped and the easy- to-read instructions of appliances around the cottage were very useful. We just loved the well-kept lawned garden, and bar.b.q'd there every evening. It was so peaceful and it was nice to see the sun set over a glass of wine. We appreciated the food pack on arrival and Craig and Melanie's visit in the beginning of our stay to make sue that everything was in order. We definitely recommend Campo Verde.

Holiday experience at Campo Verde
Our family of 4, including two daughters aged 20 and 24, loved Campo Verde and the surrounding area. We had a magical week and appreciated the beautifully equipped converted farmhouse and seeing the local shops and sites. The listing description was very accurate, and the property very well maintained. Craig and Mel were perfect hosts. We would highly recommend the experience but a car is necessary. We went twice to the restaurant at Belesar.

A Wonderful Holiday
The property exceeded all descriptions and remained beautifully cool inside, despite temperatures in excess of 30 degrees Centigrade. We particularly enjoyed the suggested drives along the Sil and Mino gorges which have spectacular views. We enjoyed our visit to the monastery at Samos and the shrine of Santa Eulalia de Boveda.
