Winter Season 2009

Just packing up to leave this beautiful place having spent four snowboard filled months here. Whilst the place was stunning through the winter months I would very much love to stay and see the place bloom into spring and summer. Unfortunately I must think about working at some point.
I really enjoyed staying in the apartment which was fully furnished and equipped with everything I needed. Underfloor heating makes the place cosy in the winter and when the weather warms up the garden catches the sun all day long.
The house is located within reach of numerous ski resorts and I enjoyed exploring them during my stay here. The snow has been fantastic this year, being the best in over a decade. The owners of the house are both lovely and welcoming providing local knowledge of places to see and explore.
The house is located in a quiet village away from the main ski resorts providing a quiet and serene environment for anyone wishing to relax in peace after a hard days skiing or exploring. I would highly recommend a visit.

Risposta del proprietario: We have thoroughly enjoyed having Rob staying here for the winter months, a perfect tenant in every respect. We shall miss him but, hopefully, he might come back with his family for a summer break! Now that spring has arrived and the fruit and especially the cherry trees are in blossom the Alps are looking very beautiful indeed: the snow is still on the tops but the flowers are blooming and the warmer months are on the way. Can you be tempted to spend some qualitiy time in the Alps this summer? We hope so and look forward to welcoming you.

Had such a amazing holiday last year staying in this super appartment, was desparately hoping I would not be disappointed on returning. On the contrary, fabulous familiar feeling coming back,with other family members this time. Service and advice up to expectations. Good to revisit some famuliar haunts and exciting to explore and walk in different areas . Just hope they open that cafe again in AGY! For evenig out..great restaurant Thai/Turkish not far and the very reliable and reasonable restaurant attached to the Carrefour Supermarkets..nothing like those in GB;excellent choice and have food cooked in front of you. Even found one open on Sundays. Other times very relaxing to cook in the appartment and sit outside on our personal patio under the umbrella with a glass of local Savoirade white! Cheers!

I and Two friends have just returned from an excellent holiday staying in the clean and comfortable apartment.
By using the owners knowledge of outdoor activities we travelled to Chamonix and Annecy for fun, but also the more local area with good walking and cycling just outside the property and even a paragliding
take-off only Five minutes drive further up the mountain.
I have recommended the apartment to friends and want to return.

I have just come back from on excellent holiday staying in the ground floor apartment. The property was excellent maintained, very clean and comfortable. The description provided was spot on! The owners were only too keen to help with explaining the area and where was the right places to go. I would have no hesitation in recommending this apartment which was excellent value for money. I look forward to returning back next year.

MY MAGIC HOLIDAY IN THE ALPS!

I love walking in beautiful places with a choice of very challenging and relaxing. I couldn't have picked a better place than this holiday rental. The appartment looked welcoming, very clean and comfortable, with everything I needed for my stay. I particularly liked the location from where i could walk from the appartment and those autumn colours dressing all the hillsdes around were to die for! I wanted to be away from the holiday buzz where i might spend more money than i can afford! , at the same time There is transport from the door down to Cluses from where i took a train to Chamonix for the day with all the buzz I felt like! I ended up doing this twice once for a leasurely explore and secondly in order to ascend to the Auguille du midi in the cable car...2 stages WOW can't even begin to describe that experience...what a feat of engineering and views out of this world! I was lucky as this does not always go to the top if the weather is too windy. I ended up taking a bus on another day, again from outside the appartment but this time in the other direction via Les Carroz to Flaine where the walking was magnificent. I must return here in the snow!
Apart from these highlights, the area around the appartment provided me with all the walking i needed. In Agy, the hill ( mountain)?behind the appartment, I spent time watching the paragliders take off and doing a few of the very well marked trails along the broad ridge at the top...on one day even walked to Les Carroz...though i did need to check first that there would be transport back!
The owners, both adventure, wildlife and generally outdoor junkies were very helpful giving me local information, and even gave me a lift to the nearest supermarche. I chose to use only public transport on this occasion and it worked great ,I am already planning my next return trip maybe this time I will hire a car ...not sure yet, but hopefully this appartment will be free and I will share with friends...guess I might need to book soon!
