The Crab Shack was designed for comfort and relaxation. Grab a drink and head up to Crow's Nest, our rooftop deck with stunning views of the East River and a sunset over the soybean fields, and kick back at our LL Bean dining table and chairs topside.

What would vacation be without swimming! Refresh yourself at our swimming pool with bar area, double hammock swing, loungers, rocking chairs, dining table & grill. For those torn between a favorite show & the lure of the pool, enjoy the outdoor tv w/satellite and music channels. Can’t get enough of the water view then try your hand at good ole fashioned crabbing with chicken legs and strings

on the pier or relax in the Adirondack chairs while the crab pots do the work for you. Revive yourself with a nap in the huge couples’ hammock in our mint garden (great for tea or mint juleps/mojitos) or rejuvenate your body & spirit in the large hot tub on Grandview’s waterside screened porch. Quiet time abounds as well so relax in one of our reading areas or just kick back and rest in the lounge chairs located throughout the property. Bird watchers love viewing dozens of water fowl and bird species including our resident heron, egret and osprey. Stroll around the pathways and neighborhood and enjoy our wildlife and gardens with coastal landscaping. If you want to try an adventure, take our kayaks for a paddle and our bikes for a spin. Love fishing? Bring your boat, tie up to our pier and join in catching some of the hundreds of flounder and rockfish garnered by our guests and resident expert, Capt Dave who is happy to provide local fishing intelligence.
