Sehr gut ausgestattete Wohnung, Terasse mit tollem Blick übers Meer. Kleiner Supermarkt, Metzger, Post und Pizzeria zu Fuß zu erreichen, gute Busanbindung nach Amalfi

We were looking for a private place to spend a week and live like locals somewhere along the Amalfi coast - the terrace view first caught our attention and that is where we spent most of our time! We made day trips to Positano, Ravello, Amalfi, Isle de Capri, sharing the inter-city SITA bus with the local people. As well, we made many long walking excursions into Amalfi and through the nature trail that led to the nearby fiord. When we returned home each day we marvelled at how we had found the perfect holiday local, well equipped, centrally located, private and close to all the major tourist cities. Each city had its share of beaches, however the Conca dei Marini beach was our favourite and we started many days with a quick swim at this beach. Stefano's villa is the ideal location for those that want privacy, charm and a terrace with a view of the Mediterranean! The post office, local grocer, butcher, hardware store, pizzeria and sports bar restaurant were all just a short walk away. This villa was charming, and we felt very much at home, beginning each day with our breakfast on the terrace and ending each day on the terrace with wine, music and some card playing. Wir sind mit dem Auto aus Deutschland hierhin angereist. Das Haus war etwas spät bezugsfertig (gegen 17.00 Uhr). Von außen ein eher unscheinbares Haus. Dann, ein paar Stufen hoch und wir standen auf der Terrasse. Der 1. Blick zum Wasser/Meer war überwältigend. Die Wohnung war sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet..Das Wohnzimmer, die großzügige Küche und ein Bad befanden sich in der 1. Etage. Einige Treppen hoch und das Schlafzimmer und das 2. Bad kamen zum Vorschein. Die Küche war mit allem denkbaren ausgestattet (nur für uns Deutsche keine Kaffeemaschine) Diverse Gewürze und Kräuter waren auch vorhanden. Wir verbrachten ,wenn wir im Haus waren, die Zeit auf der Terrasse. Sie war zwar überdacht aber nicht Regengeschütz. Für unser Auto bekamen wir einen Parkplatz direkt vor dem Haus mit Parkkarte.Der Fernseher liefert leider keine deutschen Programme-haben wir auch gar nicht vermisst.
Für die gesamte Zeit unseres Aufenthaltes ließen wir unser Auto stehen und sind alles abgewandert oder mit dem Bus gefahren. Baden konnte man in diversen Buchten (sehr viele Treppen bis dorthin). Das Wasser ist sehr sauber. Post, Pizzeria, kleiner Markt und Restaurant und ein hübscher Blumenladen sind in unmittelbarer Nähe. Wir sind bis Amalfi gegangen, kein Problem, die Busse sind ziemlich voll und der "Weg der Götter" ist ein muss, tolle Aussichten.
Wer den Touristentrubel meiden will, ist hier total richtig, ich vergebe 10 von 10 Punkten. PS. mein Auto ist ohne Schrammen und Beulen davongekommen. Danke !!

We stayed in this apartment for one week in October 2011 and absolutely loved it! It totally met our expectations: the apartment was clean and very well-maintained, it had all the amenities we needed, and it has an astonishing view! We had breakfast outside on the terrace almost every morning, which was a great way to start the day. The town Conca dei Marini is very central, so all the other beautiful villages are within 1 hour drive. It is very close to Amalfi, which is a lovely town to visit but you can also take the boat from there to Napoli or Capri. Conca dei Marini itself is a small town, very quiet, with 2 restaurants (that were open in October). During the week we kept in touch with Stefano (the owner) who gave us all the information we needed. We would definitely recommend this apartment to our friends and we will definitely rent it again when we visit the Amalfi coast again!

La nostra vacanza è stata perfetta, grazie a tutti i comfort della casa, tra cui la terrazza, con un panorama mozzafiato. La casa e' pulita ed arredata con molto gusto. Non manca niente (tutto per la cucina, asciugamani, lenzuola). Il proprietario e' molto simpatico e disponibile. Torneremo sicuramente!!!

"Soggiorno meraviglioso. La casa, ubicata in una zona molto tranquilla di Conca Dei Marini, è molto ben rifinita con materiali pregiati, ben arredata, dotata di quanto è necessario per un soggiorno confortevole, e molto pulita. Il terrazzo di accesso alla casa ha una vista mozzafiato sulla costa ed è perfettamente equipaggiato per indimenticabili colazioni, pranzi e cene all’aperto, anche a base di carne alla brace grazie al barbecue in dotazione. Il Signor Stefano, proprietario dell’alloggio, è stato disponibilissimo e molto gentile e cortese. Imperdibile! "

If you don't want to stay in a busy area as Amalfi or Positano, this is right place to stay; Conca dei Marini. Nice little house with a beautiful sea view and terrace where was nice to enjoy a breakfast and afternoon drinks after hiking. Good hiking possibilities.
The house was well equipped, only thing was that we are used to have a softer bed at home. That is the only reason why the rating wasn't excellent :). For sure we would come here again and are recommending this house, the owner was really helpful already before we came e.g. parking permit had to pick up from the municipality.
There were not so many restaurants in the neighbourhood but all of them were good. Conca dei Marini harbour had nice restaurants but if you wouldn't like to drive you had to walk stairs up and down, but the food was worth for it.

.... and loved our stay in Conca Dei Marini. It's a beautifull village, (less touristic) between Amalfi and Positano.
The house is amazing, well decorated and very clean. The kitchen was filled with everything! We made many nice meals here. There was a good barbeque as well and nice terrace overlooking the ocean.
You've everything you need for a relax stay!

The people in the village make you feel at home, especially the restaurant Club Sportivo,the butcher and at the super market down club Sportivo. Everything you need within 500m. The Lido Conca dei Marini, is a perfect spot at the sea, with sundecks and a nice restaurant. They even have a pick-up service to the beach area. Otherwise you can take on of the many stairs in the village. It keeps you in shape.

We loved our stay, the house is exactly as beautifull as the pictures at the website! We could always park our car in front of the house and the busstop is a few minutes walk a way. A perfect place to discover the Amalfi Coast, Pompei and the Vesuvius. But take a little extra time to travel, because sometimes it's bussy on the small road along the coast.

Some things seems difficult, but we just asked the locals! There so nice and try to help you with everything. Like organizing your own trips. From Amalfi there are ferries to Capri €35, Positano and Salerno. Don't miss the tower down at the Lido and the Grotta Esmeralda. This is a Blue grotta near the village! Not as touristic as Capri. At the supermarket they have a free map of the village, easy for the steps and some information about the area.
