What a find!

We spent 8 nights at this lovely villa earlier this month (May 2011). Having arrived very late at night we were kindly directed to the property by Paola and met in person by Brian. The property was spotlessly clean and well equipped, and the grounds were just beautiful, with panoramic views.Our girls (age 3yrs and 11 mths) had a fantastic time looking at all the flowers, playing with the toys provided, and keeping an eye out for the little cat. Brian was on hand every day as he came to tend the gardens, and was most helpful in answering any queries and advising on the local area. There are many beautiful beaches within easy driving distance, and Santa Teresa is nearby for supermarkets etc. San Pasquale itself is a lovely village and we enjoyed several mornings there having coffee and letting the girls play in the park. I can definitely say that the property exceeded our expectations and we hope to return there in the future. Highly recommended!

Heel fijn huis en ontzettend lieve eigenaars, Paola en Brian staan echt dag en nacht voor je klaar als je dat zou willen. Wij waren er natuurlijk vroeg in het jaar en de nachten zijn dan koud en het huis (als je vergeten bent verwarming erbij te boeken) dus ook. Maar desondanks hadden ze ervoor gezorgd dat het huis lekker warm was bij aankomst, en ook de rest van de week zorgde Brian wel voor brandhout en een gasfles. Ze gaven tips waar we lekker konden eten en wat de bezienswaardigheden waren in de buurt. Een absolute aanrader is het eiland Maddalena waar je heen kunt varen per ferry vanaf Palau (dat is 10 min. rijden met de auto en de overtocht duurt een kwartier ongeveer). Inderdaad zijn er grotere plaatsen in de buurt waar je kunt shoppen en boodschappen doen, maar de plaatselijke kruidenier verkoopt ook heerlijke verse broodjes en verse ham en kaas, er is zelfs een pinautomaat in San Pasquale...
Het huis was mooi schoon en ontzettend groot elke keer als je een deur opent zit er weer een slaapkamer achter, verbazend gewoon.. Alles werkte en was goed geregeld.
Ik beveel dit huis zeker aan, en niet alleen aan 55 plussers! Je kunt er dus met heel veel vrienden/familie in, de prijs is zeker niet duur en er is geen zwembad maar de beaches zijn dicht bij en het water is zo mooi helder, schitterend gewoon.
Wij hebben genoten en wij waren met z'n zessen en in de leeftijd van 45 tot 6 jaar en iedereen had het naar zijn zin.

Very nice house and very sweet owners, Paola and Brian are really night and day there for you if you wish. We were of course early in the year and the nights are cold and the house (if you forgot to book the heating) also. But nevertheless they had ensured that the house was warm on arrival, and the rest of the week took Brian care for firewood and a gas cylinder. They gave us good tips on where to eat and what sights were nearby. An absolute must is the Maddalena island where you can go sailing by ferry from Palau (which is 10 minutes away by car and the crossing takes about fifteen minutes). Indeed there are more big places in the neighborhood where you can go shopping and errands, but the local grocery store also sells delicious fresh bread and fresh ham and cheese, there is even an ATM in San Pasquale ...
The house was beautifully clean and very big every time you open a door is another bedroom behind, just amazing .. Everything worked and was well organized.
I definitely recommend this house!!!
