HAppy Honeymoon

Not that we planned it this way, but we got married on the Sunday that Superstorm Sandy hit. And while all our family was dealing with cancelled flights and hotels without power, we headed north out of the storm for a mini-honeymoon. As if that wasn't good enough, with rainbows guiding our way, we found this amazing pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.
The cabin is everything it's advertised to be and more and exactly what we needed after the chaos of a wedding. We were able to enjoy the hot tub between rain storms, utilized the music channels available on the TV and cooked some fabulous "first" meals together in the more than adequate kitchen. We even made it outside beyond the hot tub once to enjoy the short walking trail.
We certainly hope to return in the future with better weather and more time in order to explore the surrounding areas. But for this trip, it was beyond perfect.

Amazing!

I wish I could give this place more then 5 stars! It was amazing! It looks small when you first pull up, but it is the perfect cozy, spacious, romantic place to be. Amazing views, the owners are so sweet and welcoming. Cannot wait to plan our next trip in the Spring/Summer so we can walk the property more!

Perfect for a Romantic Getaway!

This was the perfect location for a romantic getaway. The cabin is exactly as advertised, and we loved it! The home and scenery were absolutely beautiful and we loved that there was no cell reception for miles, we could truly unplug! The cabin itself was extremely clean and had every amenity you could ask for, so while rustic, you really weren't roughing it. My kind of relaxing! I hope we can return again soon!

Romantic, relaxing. and fun getaway!

My boyfriend and I stayed here for our anniversary and had an incredible time! The hot tub and fire pit were our favorite! The view of the stars from the hot tub is truly amazing! The whole place is very clean and rewly remodled. We felt very comfortable and at home! We did not want to leave!

The cabin was absolutely wonderful! Everything was so clean and inviting, just as if we were truly in the comfort of our own home. The surroundings were beautiful and the ability to see so much wildlife was such a treat. We will most certainly be back again!

Perfect Getaway!

My husband and I visited this adorable cabin recently and fell in love with it! After a crazy few months we really needed to get away and enjoy some peace and quiet. This was definitely the place to go! The cabin is cozy, clean, and peaceful. The property and views of the mountains are beautiful. We spent our days hiking on the marked trails, listening to running streams, and viewing the wildlife. At night we enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub under the stars. The house had everything we could possibly need and Joe and Brenda made us feel at home. Thanks for everything. We can’t wait to come back!

Cabin is exactly what it claims to be and more. The location is just amazing, very private with absolutely stunning view. Outside hot tub overlooking the mountain was my favorite, I never felt so relaxed. The owner was very responsive, accommodating and very talented in home decor and event planning. Rooms were very cozy well heated, kitchen was very well equipped. Everything was well organized and I am most impressed by small details in every aspect. I got engaged during my stay with the help from the owner (Brenda you are the best) who made the day magical for us. I will remember and cherish this forever. Can't wait to go back there again.
I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants peaceful romantic getaway from the rush, noise and busy city life.

Beautiful, relaxing stay

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful time here! The cabin was clean, cute and cozy and had everything we needed. It was far enough away to "get away from it all" yet close enough to some amazing ski resorts. We especially enjoyed the hot tub, snow shoeing, the fireplace, the stars at night, and the peace and quiet. We will definitely be back for another visit!

peaceful getaway!

My husband and I took our first vacation without our little girls. It was just the getaway we needed. The cabin is just right We felt right at home. We enjoyed cross country, hiking and sledding on the property. A nighttime hot tub under the stars topped off each night. So peaceful, we can't wait to come back.

Just terrific!

My girlfriend and I took a rather lengthy vacation at this amazing spot, staying there for a week and a half, having enough time to explore most of what this location had to offer. We both live in rather rural areas and this was a perfect spot to get away from the civilized world. So peaceful! Apart from snowboarding, which requires some driving to get to, my favorite activity at the location must have been taking the walks on the trails, exploring the woods in peace and quietness. We both had a blast going to the Bretton Woods area, where we got to ride a dog sled, and I even got to drive it for a couple of minutes. It was an amazing time to go out and get cold doing whatever we wanted to do, and then come back to the cabin and jump in the outside hot tub and watch the snow fall... Just great. We are already considering when to go back to this oasis.
