My husband and I booked this condo knowing it would be a different experience for us. We have always stayed at all inclusives and wanted to try something knew. We fell in love with Puerto Morelos last year and wanted to explore it further. We walked to town daily, sometimes twice. It was not far and a very welcome form of exercise after eating all the delicious food the village has to offer. There is no shortage of great places to eat and explore in PM.
The condo is exactly as pictured. It is immaculate and in a great location in the complex. We used the balcony often and thorougly enjoyed our breakfast and morning beverages while watching the ocean. It was windy during our stay and we were very comfortable on the second floor. The pool and hot tub were superb and we spent a lot of time on the beach. It is well kept by Gustavo who works very hard to make sure everything is perfect for the owners and guests. The shipyard was very entertaining. We spent the better part of a day watching them unload cargo and wondering what it was. Fascinating.
The amenities in the condo are everything you would every need. Carlos made sure that our grocery list was exactly as requested and provided us with airport transporation. He was waiting as promised and wasted no time getting us to the condo and giving us a thorough tour and instructions. It was much appreciated.
Thank you for sharing your special place with us Eric and Lisa. We hope to return again soon and will be looking to Palma Real again. It was a great experience. Puerto Morelos is indeed a gem.

We loved our two week stay in this condo; everything listed in the description was exact, we lacked for nothing in this unit. The condo is spacious and tastefully decorated; the bed and pillows were VERY comfortable and the balcony with the great view and BBQ was used often! The washer and dryer in the condo was much appreciated and envied by others that we met in the complex as they were not allowed to use theirs...under lock and key...such a shame! We also had ample bath towels, hand towels and face cloths, something else that was lacking in the other units. Eric and Lisa have thought of absolutely everything to make this a fabulous home away from home in the warmth and sunshine!! There are two kayaks available to guests and my partner used them every day...I think he became obsessed with getting over the waves each time he started out. Carlos, the Property Manager, gave us a thorough Orientation and offered his services 24/7 if need be. The walk to town is a comfortable 12 minutes; a very pretty and clean town with excellent restaurants. We enjoy eating in, only had 4 meals out; loved the "take out" chicken and ribs at La Piccolini and Chicken Itza. Breakfast at El Nicho twice; probably the best Eggs Benedict we have had and we order them often at home and when travelling.

My Husband wisked me away for 5 great, quite, sunny days at Palm Real. The condo was very clean, the view from the balcony was beautiful. The pictures are true to the place. A very nice kitchen but hey I'ts our 25th Anniversy so we didn't cook. The restaurants in town were great, walked to town for breakfast, El Nicho then back to the private beach for sun. A walk back for dinner, then a bottle of wine in the hot tub or room balconay, the breeze there was nice in the evening. Carlos is a nice man, picked\droped us up at the airport. Showed us the town and places to eat, checked on us during the week. Can't wait to get back and stay longer.

My friend & I have stayed in Puerto Morelos several times and love it. We were pleased with the condo but very unhappy the the beach area. The beach was very dirty & had a lot of broken glass on it. This was a big disappointment as I enjoy walking on the beach & wasn't able to do so. The town does not clean that end of the beach. The bathroom had a dirty fowl smell therefore we kept the door closed most of the time. Condo was nice, clean & property mgr. was very helpful. As always the people & restaurants were wonderful. Mosquito's were very BAD. I recommend staying at the north end of town as the beaches are clean & enjoyable.

Our recent stay for one week at the Palma Real condo #203 was really great! The condo was comfortable, with all of the amenities we could hope for. The only thing was that the jacuzzi wasn't working due to recent flooding/rains. But not the end of the world because it was summer and super hot and humid outside anyway. The onsite staff were great, kept the place clean and cared for, and offered help if needed. And Carlos, the manager was awesome! He recommended a fabulous tour of Chichen Itza, which we really enjoyed, was prompt to pick us up and drop us off upon arrival and leaving, and honored all agreements. The only thing about the condo which was less desirable was the location. Because there had been recent rain, we could not walk the short way to get into town because the road was flooded. That's nobody's fault, though, but consider if you are going in summertime, that you might have to walk a different route (a bit farther/out of the way) to get to and from town if the road is wet. But if you rent a vehicle, it's not an issue.

My wife and I spent 2 weeks in your wonderful condo. From the moment we arrived we fell in love with the place. The condo is very well equipped, roomy and with an incredible balcony with oceanview. We spent a lot of time on that balcony just relaxing and enjoying the scenery. The pool and spa were great and not too crowded during our stay. We would usually finished the evening in the spa after returning from town and we would always be alone, it was great. We also enjoyed the beach and palapas in front of the condos, the swimming was great but during our stay there was a lot of seaweed around the beach. It was picked up almost everyday but the next morning would bring another batch but this was not a problem. We would also walk on the beach to the south toward the El-Cid Resort, the beach is not very nice on that stretch, it very rocky, you can't really swim in it but it still walkable(about 40 minutes to and from the resort).The port right beside the condo was not a problem, every thuesday, if I recall, a boat with crates would come in but it wasn't bothersome, it brought a little action to the day. The town of Puerto Morelos is just a short 10 minutes walk from the condo or a 30 pesos taxi ride. You can't walk by the beach because of the port, you need to take a small road that passes in front of the port. We walked it often and it was very safe. We usually took the taxi to come back to the condo(only 30 pesos). The town itself was wonderful with plenty of good restaurants. After dinner, we would head to the Centro to relax before going back to the condo. We had planned to do some excursions during our stay but found the condo and its grouds so relaxing that we spent most of the time there. We did go to the Jungle Spa for some massages, we recommended it highly, Sandra the owner is quite a character. We couldn't finish the review without thanking Carlos the condo manager that was always there if we needed help, suggestions. Gracias Carlos. We plan on returning very soon.

Thank you for allowing us the use of your condo. we had a great time here and enjoyed staying in your beautiful decorated condo. It provide us with a peaceful & relaxing "Home Base" during our 2 week vacation. The grounds were gorgeous and the pool and hottub were very nice to relax in and also very clean.
We will miss having our morning coffee on the balcony. The view & the breezes were wonderful. We also enjoyed our walks into Puerto Morelos and dined in many great restaurants.

We stayed at this property from Dec 1 to 13, 2011. The condo is very nicely decorated, very well equiped, spotlessly clean (and I mean SPOTLESS), and we enjoyed the fact that we could walk to the small village but were away from the hustle and bustle. The pool and hottub were fantastic, also very clean and well maintained as was the terrace around the pool. There was a security guard in attendance from 6:00pm to 6:00am every night who took his job very seriously which was quite comforting even though in the 5 weeks we'd been in the Yucatan we'd never even come close to being uncomfortable with our safety. We did experience one problem, not with the condo itself, but something in the complex, one which was completely out of the owner's control. We sent an email to the owners and they responded immediately. They worked extremely hard to find a solution to ensure that our vacation was as enjoyable as expected and when we left on the 13th we were very satisfied and impressed with their efforts. I would definitely stay here again, especially knowing that in the unlikely event we encountered any sort of problem again the owners would respond and do everything in their power to find a solution. I would also have no problems recommending this property to family and friends.
