My husband and I spent Valentine's week in this lovely apartment. The location was perfect and the place was well laid out and nicely decorated with all the comforts of home (note: the apartment is a 4th floor walk-up). I can't say enough about Pascal and his hospitality. He made some wonderful recommendations for restaurants, local bakeries and cheeses. The street it's located on was fun and full of life. We especially loved walking down the block to Korcarz for pastries and quiche in the mornings. The apartment is also a 2 minute walk from the Saint Paul metro station. Don't miss out on a walk across to Île Saint-Louis for an ice cream cone from Berthillion or to shop in Olivers & Co. for spices on Rue St Louis. We will definitely be back in the future.

A beautiful apartment in a great location. Pascal, the owner, greeted us on arrival and made us most welcome. Well appointed, modern, clean and comfortable. Great giant shower head with constant hot water. Would highly recommend!

We stayed in the Elegance Apartment for 8 nights. The apartment is perfect in every way – very well equipped, clean, comfortable and lots of extra touches which make it special. It is just as good as the pictures on the website suggest. The area is ideal – lively and bustling in the day and evening (plenty of good restaurants within easy walking distance) but lovely and quiet at night. There are bus and metro stops nearby, but we found that we could walk to quite a few places quite easily. The Marais District itself is well worth investigating on foot. Would definitely recommend – thanks to Pascal for making us so welcome.

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights for a belated honeymoon and were so very pleased not only with the apartment but also with Pascal for his amazing hospitality. The Elegance Marais is clean, efficient, with wonderful amenities that made our stay so very pleasant. (The unit itself is housed in a four floor walk-up so watch how much luggage you bring!) The apartment is located on one of the most charming blocks in the Marais and Pascal could not be more hospitable. Trust me, we made a major boo-boo and inconvenienced him on a very early morning and still he pulled out all stops to help us. You will not regret your stay; I highly recommend!

Pascal was a very warm and welcoming host and the apartment was wonderful...fantastic location, all the conveniences of home and more! It was very quiet at night and had wonderful sunlight in the daytime. We would highly recommend the Elegance Marais apartment. Thank you for everything Pascal!

We spent a wonderful month in Pascal’s Elegance Marais apartment in January of 2011 and can’t recommend it highly enough. The apartment lives up to its name and is exactly as it appears in the pictures on the website – there are no surprises. It is tastefully decorated, and very comfortable with all of the amenities – flat screen television, MAC computer with internet connection, even free long distance telephone service. The kitchen is well equipped – we fell in love with the Nespresso coffee maker.
The location is perfect – we walked almost everywhere, and when that wasn’t possible, the St. Paul metro stop is only a couple of blocks away. The apartment is also close to boulangeries, wine shops, and markets of all kinds, as well as restaurants. We particularly enjoyed eating at the Equinox and L’As du Falafal on rue des Rosiers.
Pascal was a joy to work with – extremely helpful from our first correspondence to our last day in Paris. He was waiting for us in the apartment when we arrived, and even took us out for coffee while we waited for the cleaning to be finished. He arranged to have the apartment thoroughly cleaned twice during our stay, and also arranged for a cab to take us to the train station when we left. Pascal is affable and approachable and willing to help with any question or difficulty that might arise. Staying in the Elegance Marais and getting to know Pascal were among the highlights of a wonderful month in Paris. We are looking forward to returning soon, and definitely hope to stay in one of Pascal’s apartments when we do.

My friend Jane and I spent 10 days at Pascal’s apartment in Le Marais and this amazing and wonderful city. Pascal is so welcoming and caring. He is passionate about his culture and ensuring his guests are happy in his apartments. We have not stopped telling people about Pascal and his fantastic apartment. All new, clean, modern and situated in the beautiful area of the Marais. Wonderful pastries shops, restaurants, cafes and delis and wine shops surround the apartment. We can’t speak highly enough of Pascal. He is such a honest caring gentleman. Our only concern is that his apartment will become so popular that it will always be booked out. Thank you Pascal for allowing us to book your apartment, your kind help with our luggage up the stairs on arrival, and coming to see us off and helping us to the taxi rank in the early hours of our departure from the apartment on the morning we left. Not to forget the Nespresso coffee machine and fantastic front loader washing machine and fabulous shower. Ho and the amazingly fabulous sofa lounge. Great food can be found at “Le Bistrot Des Comperes” at 16 Rue Charlemagne, about a ten min walk from the apartment. And if you are in the area, another great restaurant is “la Bastide d’Opio at 9 rue Guisarde. Our stay in Paris was made memorable thanks to you Pascal. Kind regards, Lucia

When I travel, I put as much thought into where I stay as what I see. When I come "home" after a day of sightseeing, and want to relax with a nice cup of tea, a book, and some music before going out again, a hotel room doesn't always cut it. But neither do some vacation rentals. However, the Elegence-Marais apartment that Pascal owns was just what I was looking for: quiet, modern, and relaxing. Plus, Pascal was very helpful in many ways, everything from meeting me at the apartment to show me around, accommodating some minor requests, and providing excellent recommendations. I've been spoiled. I will happily refer people to Pascal, and I hope to stay at this or one of his other Paris apartments in the future.
