Friendly South Lake Cabin

This is my 3rd time visiting this charming, spacious and beautiful cabin in South Lake Tahoe, and I love everything about it. It's great location puts you minutes away from Heavenly ski resort (the best views of Lake Tahoe without hiking up a backcountry mountain for at least 3 hours), and only a stones throw away from every other major ski resort in the Lake Tahoe area.
Most importantly the owners of this property are amazing, warm and friendly. The neighborhood is gorgeous and close to everything you could ever need or want while vacationing in Lake Tahoe. Close to the beach, close to the casinos, close to a plethora of great dining, and the neighbors themselves couldn't be more friendly.
The kitchen is huge and stocked with everything you need. And there's a nice hot tub which is great for relaxing after a day of skiing, hiking, or beach activities.
I really love staying there more than any other vacation home I've stayed at, and the fact that the owners and neighbors are such nice people really just adds to my experience. I highly recommend this home, and I know that anyone staying there will not be disappointed!

Great House for a family

We had a wonderful time at the house. It was close to everything and in a quiet neighborhood. We had 4 yound children with us (ages 3-11) and they loved playing in the snow covered yard, as well as just relaxing inside with a movie or board game. The house was clean and welcoming. We loved sitting out in the hot tub in the evenings to relax and watch the snow fall. Watching the snow fall during a storm was amaxing through the huge living room windows.I would recomend this house to anyone with a family who want to get away from it all but still be close to everything that South Shore has to offer.

A Real Jewel

What a lovely cabin! There was plenty of space to accommodate our group of 8 (4 adults, 4 children). The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed from cooking utensils, to pots & pans, dishes and cleaning supplies. There were plenty of linens - plush bath towels, swim towels & plenty of blankets. There were lots of books, games and puzzles as well as crayons & coloring books for the kids.

The cabin is in a great location surrounded by pines, with a large fenced yard. Really lovely and very clean. We plan to rent this cabin for our future Tahoe visits.

Watch Out For Wet Floor

The home is comfortable and well stocked. Could be cleaner, baseboards, many cobwebs. We got into the house and I happened to be the first one in and unfortunately I did not notice the very wet floor and down I went. I was wearing flip flops and a lot of water on a laminate floor is very slippery. So, I have a very bruised tail bone and I have asked the owner to speak with her cleaning folks and hopefully she did. We had three teenage exchange students with us and I am so thankful that it was not one of them that slipped. So, regardless of condition of home, I was in pain all weekend and am still today, 4 days later.

Great time plenty of room

The place was great. We had plenty of room. The location was great right in Lake Tahoe. Gina got back to us right away when we had any questions. We hope we are lucky enough to stay there again.

Gorgeous home in a gorgeous place

I just stayed in this beautiful home for a full month, and it was an amazing time! Not only is the house gorgeous, comfortable and spacious, it is in a wonderful neighborhood where everyone I met was super friendly. The owners were great as well, and were quick to answer a phone call or respond to an email for any questions I had, and even recommended some great places during my stay. This place is minutes away from gorgeous views of the lake, 10 minutes from Heavenly, and 20 minutes from Sierra at Tahoe ski resorts. Everything you could ask for is close by and the house has everything you need and more, from a big stocked kitchen with nice appliances to washer and dryer.
Oh, and there's a hot tub! Need I say more? I will definitely be staying here again.

Both homes are spacious,clean and welcoming and set in wonderful locations and friendly local neighbourhoods. Communication and preparation before the holiday with the Websters was great. We had the pleasure of meeting our exchange partners briefly which was the icing on the cake for a great Home Exchange. Thanks again to Scott and Gina and family.

The service was fine, very flexible, they let me check in late after some traffic and had everything ready as promised when they said. The home is beautiful with high ceilings and a big hot tub. The people before us had left us some ice piles in the backyard shaped like former snowmen.
