Excellent accommodation in a lovely part of the city. Flat was clean, tidy and fitted out with everything you could need for a short stay. Quiet in the evening so had no trouble sleeping. Plenty of eating options locally and easy access to the city centre. Owners could not be more helpful – went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable without being instrusive. Having seen the accommodation options in the centre of the city I would highly recommend this apartment unless you have enough cash to stay at one of the top end hotels. When we return to San Francisco, we will look no further. Thanks a lot Allison.

We arrived at 56 Sanchez and were very pleased with the apartment. The studio was ready for our arrival and was spotless. Check in had been arranged in advance and was a breeze. There was information available in the unit for anyone who had not already planned where to go or what to see.
Because the unit is in the front of the house, there are definitely street noises that can easily be heard from inside. This will not bother anyone used to city living, in fact, it might even be comforting.
We were so busy while in San Francisco that we didn't make use of the backyard or roof deck, but I have to say, the view from the roof is stunning and I would have enjoyed a glass of wine while admiring the city lights and stars. Transportation is easy. Streetcars are a few minutes away. It was easy to get around the city. Proximity to the Castro was fantastic for meal planning. There are a number of excellent restaurants in walking distance.
We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

I am very happy with my stay in San Francisco and in this flat.
It was very clean, comfortable and well equipped, in a quiet and well located.
On my next trip to San Francisco, I will come back without hesitation and with great pleasure in this flat.

GREAT LOCATION - SUPER COMFORTABLE

The apartment is just a few blocks from the Safeway store (to stock up on groceries) all the transportation options at the corner of Church Street and Market Street. Plus, it's just a short walk to Haight-Ashbury, the Castro District and Noe Valley. Too many wonderful restaurants to count!
The apartment itself is cozy and comfortable...everything you could need to make you feel right at home.
The contract and return of my security deposit were all handled professionally and promptly.

Great Stay!

We really enjoyed our week-long stay at this apartment. It had everything we needed and more. It is a very comfortable apartment with lots of thoughtful extras that you won't find at a hotel. We also enjoyed the great location with many restaurants within walking distance as well as public transportation and a grocery store. We would definitely stay again!

Upon arrival to 56 Sanchez we were delighted at how clean the place was. The property was as described in the advertisement, and perfect for our needs. It was very close to Muni, and easy to get around. We purchased the "City Pass" and used that to get around, and see attractions. Beautiful city really enjoyed the sights.
Did quite a bit of walking, as the neighborhood was full of restaurants, and shops. Really enjoyed Tartine bakery, wonderful pastries! Very worth the walk.
The rental was completely furnished with full kitchen and everything needed to prepare meals. There were many extras too, such as maps, and information on the city. The owners tried to think of everything to make our stay pleasant.
We were very pleased with the rental, and would definitely recommend to friends and family, was so much nicer than a hotel! Thank you for a lovely stay!

Fantastic location and equally amazing inside

We stayed for a few nights this past weekend and had an awesome time. It was nice to get out of the crowded SOMA area where all the hotels are, yet still enjoy the amenities you would expect in a five-star hotel. The internet was super fast, awesome DirecTV, extra towels, an eat-in kitchen, desk, sitting area. You could tell the owners furnished the unit as a hotel-type room but with the comforts of home. Easy walking distance from Ike's, great brunch places on Castro, and the park. Also super convenient to get on the freeway if you have a car. Parking in the area wasn't a problem. This is our first time staying somewhere that isn't a hotel---we might never go back.

We were really happy about the flat. It was clean, tastefully furnished, well located, very very nice. The description was good in the listing. And I will look for it for my next trip to SF. Also the owner and agent were very helpfull.

Really loved this place, I felt like a real local (the white chocolate mocha at the cafe was yummy). The location was unbeatable for those who don't want to stay in the "touristy" part of town and don't want to rent a car (we took public transportation a lot). Everything went super smoothly as far as booking, payment and key drop off. I even forgot my ipod and the owners were kind enough to send it back to me. I would definetly stay here again.

Great apartment in a great location

I chose this specific apartment for the location - I grew up in the neighborhood (into Junior High) and then shared an apartment with my brother one street away (I could see our old apartment from the roof deck!), so for me, this was like coming home. What I didn't anticipate was how truly nice the apartment would be.
I was traveling alone, back to see family and friends for ten day, so the studio size was just perfect for me. It would be great for a couple traveling too - plenty of storage space and room for two people to not be in each others way. But for one person for ten days it was perfect! I was able to make all the meals I wanted there - the modern kitchen is very well stocked and even has a spice rack which really came in handy. Plenty of condiments and all the pots pans utensils, etc. you'd ever need. But the stocked spice rack was a really nice touch I've never encountered in any other short-term rental. And if I didn't want to cook, some of my favorite San Francisco restaurants are within walking distance and all the rest are a short cab or bus ride away.
And there were really nice touches throughout the rest of the apartment too. The bed really was very comfortable - I worry about Murphy beds, but this was absolutely a pleasure to sleep in, with memory foam and really nice linens. And the bathroom was well appointed with high quality towels. And I'll mention that there were extra linens and towels - important for me, being there for ten days!
And then in the living area, having a fully stocked desk (stapler, pens, tape, etc.) and a printer! With paper! It was a really nice feature and very much appreciated. The furnishings are comfortable and nice looking - I really enjoyed my stay here.
I also made all of my family and friends come to see it - every single one of them was impressed. I'd love to stay for me next visit, but it's already booked!! So maybe the time after that.
I only write reviews of places I stay if I can give 5 stars. I'd give 6 here if I could.
