Sipping our morning tea at the kitchen table while watching the crashing waves and the bathers gathering for a day of sun - enjoying our late afternoon cocktails while relaxing on the deck watching that warm round sun fade out of sight, with Catalina Island on the horizon - there are no words!!! Yes, this home is all about THE VIEW and it delivers! The location is perfect. We enjoyed walking to the neighboring Meritage Resort for lunch or a glass of wine. The beach is right there and gorgeous.

Everything you could ever need is stocked for you - lovely fluffy towels and lots of them was my personal favorite.
The kitchen is big and has absolutely every pot or pan or dish or utensil you could ever need. The living room with a big fireplace is so comfortable and relaxing - and there's that view again! The beds are comfy and the linens are luxurious. The master bedroom overlooks the beach - and going to sleep to the sound of the ocean, then waking up to that view, is indescribable. The owner is so warm and charming. She is that perfect mix of helpful and caring and 'out of sight'. We were so satisfied with everything!

This rental is a great value and a wonderful surprise. At least, we are always surprised when our expectations are met and surpassed. We hope to return and return.

Mornings were spent on the deck where we sipped our morning coffee, and afternoons, the same, except that we nursed our cocktails as we watched the sun retreat to its sleeping place below the horizon.
