I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this rental.
Ver well equipped, very well maintained and the location...
I mean the location is pretty much as good as it gets.
I usually measure the standard of the rental by the number of times i need to contact the owner while on vacation. This time: Zero!
Everything was crystal clear before we got there and we had NOTHING to worry about or ask about during our two weeks stay.
The night of our arrival, when we stepped out of the cab i was like "Wooohh! This is going to be cheerful!" as the club Fat Tuesday peaked with a wild party going on. But once we entered the apartment there was nothing to worry about. You don't get a load of the noise from the street. So we slept like babies. Sure, it's there... The party downstairs, that is. But then again, it's a rental right in the heart of Ocean Drive. If dead silence is what you're after, don't chose this one. But do NOT rent this apartment and afterwards have issues about the party level on the street. That would be like ordering sushi and complain about the undercooked fish.
No, i have nothing but two big thumbs up for this one.
Next time we're going to Miami Beach this will definitely be our first priority.

For people who are lite sleepers, there is a central fan that can be switched from "auto" to "on" by doing this you will not hear any noise from Ocean Drive or downstairs.
I have been renting my condo on this site since 2006. I make sure that my guests have all the details they need prior to arriving. This assures that their stay is stress free.

In the heart of South Beach

This condo is very clean and comfortable. It's located right in the middle of all the action in South Beach. Which can be good and bad. It can get noisy at night. I had a "white noise" app. which saved me. Also, there are eye shades in the drawer because the blinds let in a lot of light. Take some if there are two of you. The beach is right across the street. I had a great time. Look into eating at the Versace villa. Expensive, but worth it to see the lovely house. Also had an excellent meal at Hotel Astor. Dei Frescobaldi has amazing Italian food.

Pleasant Experience EXCEPT one Thing

This rental is in the center of everything. I loved the location, and the fact that one of the most popular bars was right downstairs. The condo was a nice size for the two of us, it wasn’t huge but wasn’t extremely small either. My only major concern was that we would see roaches every now and then. I have seen them in the kitchen as well as the common space where the bed was. However, after alerting the owner, he stated that he would be hiring an exterminator to fix the problem. The owner, Scott, was very pleasant and informative about the property. He answered all of my questions in a timely manner. Thanks again.

Risposta del proprietario: Thank you for taking time to write the review. This building, like most others in Florida, has monthly extermination service. I can order "emergency service" at anytime. I appologize that it was not a 5 star stay. I promise to get this issue rectified ASAP.

Great Stay.... Very Clean.

I stayed at this locacation for a few day, and I am pleased to say I truly enjoyed it. This place was very clean including inside and out( hallways, elevator, etc) and quite. Nice comfortable king sizebed with nice flat screen tv. I enjoyed the extra large all around windows which made beach a little bite visable from the condo. Air condition /central air was nice and cozy which was great on those extra hot days. The location is also great right across from the beach. No need for a car. A lot of shopping area near by. Condo was wonderfull.

We had a great time!!
The condo, the building, the owner...perfect!
We stayed for almost 3 weeks and we enjoyed every day.
The price and the conditions are more than fair! And we will come back for sure!!
Although there are a lot of bars and esspecially on the weekend the surrounding is very noisy...well it´s the Ocean Drive....BUT you don´t here anything inside the condo.
The building is very clean and the cleaning ladies are very sweet.

Many people assume that it will no be quiet inside the condo, due to the location on Ocean Drive. I think it is quiet because it is located on the 3rd floor.
This condo is kept VERY clean, thanks to the great cleaning ladies that have worked for me
for over 6 years.

Best VALUE on South Beach

We went to Miami (South Beach) for a work conference being held at a hotel near the airport and decided to make this a slight vacation by going to the beach. I was dishearted by the prices of the "boutique" hotels near South Beach Miami but then i realized that my travel dates were at the end of the spring break season. When I talked with Scott (owner of the condo) he negoitiated a great price with me and told me that my stay and the location of the condo would be worth my money and it was. When I arrived I was surprised and pleased with the building, the room, and how well kept the inside was.
The only concern that I had was the noise level outside the condo since there was like an all day party downstairs at the popular South Beach Bars....but I will tell you honestly there was not a sound in the condo. It was very well insulated as to not disturb you while you slept which was important for me having to get up earlier in the morning.
Overall I was pleased and would stay here again if I were to take another trip to Miami Beach.

Location, Location, Location

This studio condo is right in the middle of all that makes South Beach the place to be, the beach, the restaurants, the shops, the clubs. The owner provided accurate and truthful descriptions of the location, condo layout and it's amenities. The place was very clean and well stocked with everything one needs in a home away from home. Although the furniture was a bit worn and outdated, it was functional and comfortable. The kitchen was completely remodeled and well stocked with all that is needed for meal preparation and eating. The cupboards contained dishes, glasses, seasonings, coffee and other items. The appliances were a nice touch, too. There was even dish detergent and paper towels! The wi-fi never let us down.
The rooftop deck provided awesome ocean views. We enjoyed being at the unit as much as we did being out and about.
The owner was forthright about the location of the unit above a restaurant/bar and was not as noisy as I anticipated. My experience with the owner was all good. He was very prompt and responsive. He refunded my damage deposit promptly.
This was my first vacation rental experience and I hope to return to this condo next year,

The furniture has since been replaced with all new furnature in the spring of 2012. As for the rooftop deck, I do not own that space, it belongs to the owner of the 4th floor penthouse suite. I am glad you enjoyed your stay and hope you can come back soon.

Perfect Beach Getaway!

One of our favorite vacation getaways when we've got more time for a beach vacation is the Virgin Islands. This sweet spot reminded us of those vacations, just a LOT closer, and less expensive. The condo is exactly as the owner describes -- the location is incredible, and the unit is nicely cared for and ready for guests. Everything from burgers and margaritas to more elegant fare is a short walk away, and the beach and park is directly across the street. When we did need a cab, it was no problem to step outside and get one within minutes. The owner does a terrific job of communicating prior to the stay, and then checking in to see if everything's okay, or if we needed anything. We didn't -- its really well equipped. If you're looking for quality and an owner who cares, you'll find it here. Enjoy!
