Lovely Private Villa
We were looking for a villa with a private boundary and found it in Casa Ramaje. After receiving superb directions from Juliette, we were met at the villa by Sid (the Agent), who was very helpful and funny.
The villa is lovely, in a very quiet residential road, just a short walk to a small supermarket (English) and a Swiss restaurant (very friendly and good food). There were inflatables for the pool and plenty of seating/sunbeds. The pool area catches the sun all day until you feel like heading out for dinner, and there are two additional tables with chairs around the side of the house to get away from the hubbub around the pool.
The kitchen is very well stocked with equipment and - hooray! - the beds are comfortable: the best we've ever slept in at a villa!
We loved the large walk-in shower, and the en-suite meant it didn't get too congested before going out in the evening - even with two teenage girls!
There are two beaches closer than Arenal - not really within walking distance though - Ambolo (naturist, although we saw people in shorts etc, with a long flight of steps down and no facilities - and no shade until later in the afternoon) and Granadella (which has a nice bar).
The Arenal has the nightlife, with plenty of restaurants and boutique-y shops, and there are stalls interspersed between the runs of eateries some evenings, selling mainly jewellery. You may well be accosted by sellers of sunglasses and roses while you eat, although they DO take no for an answer. Also, the Spanish don't appear to have heard of the smoking ban in restaurants and there are no designated areas set aside for those who don't indulge (the only downside to eating out, we found). Parking is plentiful and easy, and even when we visited the market at Moraira we found you didn't have to pay!
We had the most relaxing holiday in perfect weather and a really lovely villa, and look forward to returning to Casa Ramaje in the future. Our thanks to Juliette and Martin for sharing their lovely hideaway with us.

Ideal family holiday villa
We thoroughly enjoyed a week's holiday here in May. The weather was not brilliant but everything else was perfect for a relaxing family holiday! The villa is clean, welcoming and very well eqipped especially for young children. We particularly enjoyed spending time in the attractive secure garden. The beach is ideal for families and not too far away and there is a good selection of restaurants and bars.

Perfect holiday
We had a perfect holiday with our children ! It's the attention in little things which made us feel at home. By example the fresh flowers in the house and welcome package with wine, water and chips. Children played all day in the pool and the BBQ in the evening were completing a wonderfull holiday. The house is in a nice area with easy connection to center, beach etc.
For sure we will come back !

Fabulous Holiday Villa
We had a fabulous holiday and very much enjoyed our stay in your villa, all the children's equipment came in very handy! We will certainly look to stay at Casa Ramaje again next year. Our 2year old had a great time splashing in the pool and 'talking' to all the plants in the garden and thoroughly enjoyed her first holiday in Spain.

Superb family villa
Now I have to report that we loved your villa! We had a brilliant week. The villa was everything we had hoped for and more. Lovely and spacious, nice and private, secure and with lovely gardens, patio and pool. We loved the area and the weather was perfect, especially when comparing to UK. A particularly great day out was our trip to Guadalest - spectacular.
We had a particularly testing first day, being delayed by 8 hours and having flown in from a different airport than expected due to weather. We didn't arrive at the golf club until nearly 11 pm. Drago your agent, was good enough to still meet with us and lead us the final stretch. Once we arrived we realised that our trying trip would be well worthwhile.
We would definitely like to return in the near future, in fact we have checked prices already for next year. Thank you very much- we had a really superb time!

Well equipped beyond expectation!
We had a wonderful time thank you and now have holiday blues!! The villa was lovely and very well equipped beyond expectation. The toys, dvd's and lowering of the bed to a toddler bed was fantastic. The weather was perfect and sunny for the 2 weeks, averaging around 33 degrees each day. We would definitely recommend your villa.

Family holiday at Casa Ramaje
We used to have a villa in Orba, about 30minutes drive from Javea, but we love Javea so much we wanted a villa that was private and secure for the children to enjoy.
We were met by the agent, and the villa was easy enough to get to (although that very steep hill to the left was not good with the car we had, plus 5 people and 4 suitcases!!! Second attempt I managed it just fine).
The villa is in a lovely and quiet area, which is what we wanted. We loved the layout of the villa, and the outside was great for the children to play and know they were safe.
Villa was well equipped for both adults and children, and had everything we needed.
I loved the fact the sun is on the pool all day, and loved all the available seating outside for some al fresco dining.
We used Arenal beach for the beach itself and for eating out, along with a trip to Jalon (a must for wine lovers). We have always been to Jalon since having our villa for our locally produced wine. 8 Euros gets you 8 litres of wine!!!
The weather was fantastic for us, some days it was 38 degrees and the awning was a blessing on these days!

Casa Ramaje
What can I say,Casa Ramaje was everything it claimed and more. A beautiful villa with gorgeous garden and in a lovely part of Javea.The villa was well maintained and catered for our needs as a family.Juliette and Martin were terrific to deal with and could not have been more helpful. Javea is not a cheap option but if you are looking for good restaurants, good beach nice surroundings then it is well worth visiting.We would recommend Carnaval restaurant on the beach front its food and service was superb.I hope to visit again in the future and will definately stay at Casa Ramaje.Thanks again Juliette and Martin for a wonderfully relaxing holiday in your beautiful Villa.
