Fantastic house with fantastic location and views

We loved this house! The views are breathtaking, the area is quiet, the house was rich in history and the location was perfect.
The owners Jade and Tayu were friendly, responsive and full of tips to make our stay fantastic. Jade answered all of our questions prior to and after arrival in a timely manner. We had never been to Italy before and her responses were not only quick but helpful.
The house was clean and charming. Even though there was a huge upstairs living room, with fantastic views, we lived in the kitchen. The beds were comfortable. The wifi worked perfectly.
The views were stunning. They were everything I had imagined about the Italian countryside. We had many nice meals and drinks on the lovely patio, next an olive tree and huge rosemary bush, overlooking vineyards.
I can't say enough about the location, it was perfect! The house was close to Sienna and Florence. Tavernelli, a large village, ten minutes from the house, had restaurants, buses to Florence, a lovely town square, grocery stores and friendly people.
We took the bus from Tavernelli to Florence numerous times, which worked perfectly. The buses ran on time. We took the super train to Rome from Florence for a quick two day excursion.
We had many beautiful drives through the Italian countryside on winding roads, up hills and into small and very old villages where we would find a trattoria for lunch.
Nestled in wine country and olive trees, there were many wineries offering tours. We had tours and tastings at two wineries. At Casa Sola winery we were the only folks on the tour, which included a tour of olive groves, meats and cheeses and lots of great wine to taste.
I highly recommend this property and can't wait to go back!
